SaleHoo Sucks?
Internet marketer Terry Gibbs has slammed SaleHoo in his review, but on closer inspection it seems he has been doing this to profiteer off the SaleHoo trademarked search term phrase.
Through the use of a large banner advertisement on his salehoo sucks review site, Terry is actually promoting his own product through writing a defamatory and biased review of his competitor salehoo.
Evidence that all is not above board in Terry’s website is obvious when a user tries to post a comment on his forum. You can’t, he has disabled comments. Yet there are comments there. How can there be comments there if they are disabled?
Terry’s claim is that SaleHoo is a scam because another product produced by the SaleHoo owners, Auction Inspector, is an inferior product to his own Auction Revolution product. That’s just his opinion here. And even if it was inferior, that doesn’t make it a scam by any means.
The reader of this article should also be aware that none of the AuctionXFactor product, produced by SaleHoo was plagiarized, or paraphrased from any of Terry Gibb’s works. Yet Terry made it look as though that was the case.
Terry tells people that SaleHoo is a scam in order to sell more of his own products. The word scam should only be used in extreme circumstances. Not simply when you don’t like one of your competitors products (as Terry Gibbs has done). He has tainted his own reputation among people who know better of his review.
The truth is SaleHoo is not a scam. I’ve logged into their members area and there are literally thousands of wholesale suppliers to choose from. And there are a lot of members who have been there long term who post on the forums and talk to each other about various things to do with buying and selling wholesale products.
This is likely to harm SaleHoo for a long time to come. It is unfair in this instance as SaleHoo has been negatively affected by the biased and untrue review posted by one man who is profiting from his review.
SaleHoo has written their own reply to Terry’s review. It is difficult for some people to find on the internet as sensationalist stories such as the one told by Terry tend to rise higher in the search engines.
